Asset Arena Investment Accounting - Market Watch
SunGard Asset Arena recently formed a partnership with World Tax Service (WTS), a tax advisory company based in Germany and representing a network in more than 90 countries. SunGard is working with WTS to review and monitor international tax codes and regulatory changes that may impact the Asset Arena Investment Accounting customer base.
Dubbed “Market Watch,” the partnership is designed to keep Asset Arena on top of the latest tax rules and regulatory changes. “Because of our expertise in the global accounting space, our clients expect us to take a lead role in evaluating the impact of global regulatory change,” said Karen Doolan, managing director North American products.
To get started, SunGard and WTS recently met in Luxembourg with Asset Arena customers to discuss regulatory topics such as European tax law changes, UCITS IV, and the Foreign Accounting Tax Compliance Act (FATCA). Discussions focused on the regulatory challenges and how they affect our clients globally, and helped SunGard plan for the convergence of a regulatory approach via a single global channel.
Events like this allow SunGard customers to gather regulatory and technology insight, and offers SunGard an opportunity to prioritize, plan and gather feedback. This imitative will be rolled out on a Global basis, with ‘Market Watch’ teams and user groups.
