WorldLend is designed for US-based agency lenders and custodians, providing a wide range of standard services while still offering SunGard custom solutions for clients’ unique needs. It can be implemented as an in-house solution or may be accessed remotely from a SunGard-managed site.

WorldLend is used by a number of leading US agent lenders to manage the entire lifecycle of loans against cash and non-cash collateral.

WorldLend is tightly integrated with Loanet Community Hub services to provide maximum automation benefits. Integration with Astec Analytics facilitates access to market data analytics and performance measurement.

    Supports the processing of loans against cash and non-cash collateral, including letter of credit, tri-party, and bonds borrowed, for specific and pooled collateral.

  • Automated activity management
    Integrates closely with Loanet Order Routing, Contract and Rebate Compare and Automated Marking services to bring the benefits of exception processing.

  • DTCC Settlement
    Enables direct DTCC settlement via DTCC MQ messaging facility and uses ‘Switch Processing’ to maintain segregation of securities available to lend, thereby maximising portfolio usage and reducing operational overheads.

  • Third-party lending
    Manages security movements within DTCC accounts where assets are held in a client account at an external custody bank.

  • Client web reporting
    Provides an agent lender’s clients with simple, secure and seamless access to data through easy to use ‘drill-down’ enquiries with graphical data representation.

  • Regulatory compliance
    Integrates with Loanet to deliver lending beneficial ownership data to borrowers via the ALDoP service and also provides insurance account (LS) reporting.

  • Real-time messaging links
    Provides integration with DTCC, Loanet, Astec Analytics and a customer’s own internal trust/custody systems. WorldLend also supports the loading of stock loan trades, returns and adjustments from external systems.
