Course options range from free Webinars to full-blown Bootcamps. Also available are Live Virtual Classes where students can attend online, instructor-led courses. COURSE FORMAT DESCRIPTIONS

Webinar:  Overview 
These 30-60 minute WebEx sessions consist of a presentation with a short question and answer session. The highly qualified instructor will lead the class through a live presentation designed to give the student an overview of the topic. The Webinars are offered free on a monthly basis to assist customers in understanding both existing features and enhancements to SunGard products.

Benefits include: 

  • Expert instructors
  • Save time and money by avoiding expensive travel costs
  • Class consists of a short session allowing attendees to conduct needed daily business
  • Train at home, office, or anywhere you have internet access
  • No cost option for needed training on SunGard products allowing for minimal disruption of daily activities

Log-in details will be forwarded to all students upon acceptance of registration.

Hands-On:  Live Virtual Lab 
Led by expert instructors, courses in this format incorporate collaborative training technology in a hands-on, live virtual lab. Students can attend the course from any location around the world. Through focused curriculum and hands-on exercises, the virtual labs offer students a winning combination of traditional job-focused content and interactive instructor-led learning. A highly qualified instructor will lead the class through live presentations and assist students as they work through exercises designed to apply the knowledge presented throughout the class.

  • Newly designed content enhanced for online delivery
  • Save time and money by avoiding expensive travel costs
  • Classes consist of shorter sessions allowing attendees to conduct needed daily business
  • Train at home, office, or anywhere you have internet access

Hands-On:  Bootcamps 
SunGard designed the bootcamps for those familiar with the SunGard product but wanting to take a deeper dive into the applications. Our expert instructors deliver bootcamps at either our Houston, Texas or London, England location. These intense courses provide in-person, hands-on, instructor-led training targeted to the needs of the super user or system administrator for the application. A highly qualified instructor will lead the class through live presentations and assist students as they work through exercises designed to apply the knowledge obtained throughout the class.

  • Low cost option designed to improve the skills of the super user or system administrator
  • Courses held in the fully-equipped training room in either our Houston or London office

LMS Subscription Service (coming soon) 

The Learning Management System (LMS) option will gain one student access to the SunRise LMS for one year. This subscription will allow the user to access a total of over 160 courses in industry-related topics. Topics will include but are not limited to the following subject areas: accounting, asset management, bank asset and liability management, corporate finance, credit, credit derivatives, equities, fixed income, FX, introduction to financial markets, investment banking, Islamic financing, risk management, statistical and financial foundations, trade process, wealth management, plus a library of SunGard product specific web-based simulations (in development).
