Andrew Bateman is chief operating officer of SunGard’s business in Asia. Mr. Bateman has worked at SunGard for ten years and has more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry.   Since joining SunGard more than ten years ago, Mr. Bateman has held a number of senior roles, including EMEA managing director and head of pre-sales, North America, for SunGard’s AvantGard business unit. He began his career in the treasury dealing room at Rolls-Royce, before moving on to work in various treasury and risk management positions at KPMG.

Tony Nash is Director, Country and Economic Research, Asia, and is responsible for the Economist Intelligence Unit’s custom research projects in Asia. He will deliver a keynote speech on, “A New Business Landscape in Asia: Longer-term impacts of the current crisis.”

During the course of his career, Mr Nash has built, managed and turned-around telecom, publishing, logistics and professional services businesses in Europe, North America and Asia. He has advised some of the world's largest technology companies as well as national and state-level government agencies on digital media, telecoms, networking and technology investment strategies as well as ICT for development and microfinance in developing Asia.

Mr Nash has been an advisor to Pacific Epoch, a Shanghai-based technology publication, as well as the research director and a regular contributor to Red Herring magazine and Venture Capital Editor for the AlwaysOn Network, both Silicon Valleybased technology and investment publications. His thought leadership articles have appeared in the US, Canada, India, China, Hong Kong, and Southeast Asia.

Prior to his role at SunGard, Chris was General Manager of Protegent PTA, and Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Dataware Solutions, a leading provider of automated employee personal trading compliance solutions to financial services firms. Prior to joining Dataware, Chris held senior sales, marketing and management consulting roles at Network Engines, Strategic Networks and Putnam Investments. He holds a B.A in Economics from the University of Massachusetts.

Kristjan Drake is a Senior Vice President and Sales Manager with Bank of America’s Global Treasury Services group based in Hong Kong. He is responsible for a team of Treasury Consultants across North Asia. The team assists the Bank's multinational and government clients to optimise their working capital within Asia and around the world, focusing on integrated Liquidity Management, Cash Management, Foreign Exchange and Trade Finance solutions to meet these needs.

Prior to taking up his assignment in Hong Kong, Kris worked in Singapore for four years managing a team responsible for delivering treasury and liquidity management services to multi-national corporations in South East Asia and Australasia. While in Singapore, Kris was also Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bank of America Malaysia Berhad, the Bank’s wholly owned subsidiary holding the Banking Licence for Malaysia. Prior to moving to Singapore, Kris served as a Senior Treasury Consultant engaged in marketing Bank of America’s global cash management services to major corporations, financial institutions and government bodies in Australia and New Zealand Bank of America in Sydney. He joined Bank of America in 1991 and has extensive experience in international banking, capital markets dealing and treasury settlements.

Kris holds a bachelor of business degree, majoring in Finance and Marketing, from the University of Technology, Sydney.

Dennis Firmansjah is the CEO of PT IFS Capital Indonesia since 2006. Prior to that, he was the CEO of PT Saseka Gelora Finance from June 1997 – July 2006, the Executive Director of PT Ongko Multicorpora from August 1996 – May 1997 and the Director of PT BFI Finance Indonesia TBK from November 1985 till July 1996.

Currently, he is also the Secretary General of the Indonesian Financial Services Association – IFSA since 2007 and the Secretary General of the Asian Leasing & Finance Association – ALFA since 2008.

Dennis graduated with a Masters in Management (MM) in 1994 and has a qualification from the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) in Manila, Philippines. In 2005, he was selected as an Oustanding AIM Alumnus.

Mr. Greenwald currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Sales and Market Data at SunGard Kiodex, Inc., managing sales across the Americas and Asia Pacific regions as well as Kiodex’s market data business. Previously, he was a portfolio manager at two hedge funds and ran a long/short equity as well as a volatility dispersion portfolio. Prior to these positions, Mr. Greenwald was a vice president trading and marketing commodity derivatives at Citigroup, where he was responsible for managing the Bank’s global oil trading books in addition to marketing derivative products in energy and other commodities. In addition, Mr. Greenwald was a civil engineer for several years and responsible for building inspections, roadway designs, sewage studies and other engineering projects. He holds an MBA with a finance concentration from the Pennsylvania State University and a BS in civil engineering from the University of Hartford.

Henry Jusuf is Managing Director at the Equity Capital Markets Group at PT Trimegah Securities Tbk, the top Indonesian brokerage house. Mr. Jusuf has worked at Trimegah for ten years and has more than 12 years of experience in capital markets. Since joining Trimegah, Mr. Jusuf has held a number of middle management and senior roles in equity research, investment banking, investor relations, institutional sales and trading.

He founded the institutional equity brokerage division at the firm and the first to introduce Direct Market Access services to the Indonesian equity market. He began his career as business analyst in the United States at Smith Barney – New York, before moving to Indonesia and work at Trimegah.

Charles was born in Singapore in 1971. His career began at Cap Gemini Singapore. In 1996 he joined PepsiCo Inc and stayed for 9 years. His accomplishments included setting up pan-Asia IT operations centre in Hong Kong, optimizing FritoLay China’s supply chain, transforming sales & distributions capabilities across Asia thru IT, rationalizing from 17 ERP systems into one SAP platform and implementing same day collaborative business analytics. Charles eventually assumed IT leadership responsibilities in 2002 as PepsiCo China CIO. He has a B.SC in Economics & Management from London School of Economics.

In late 2005, he joined Royal Dutch Shell as Global Head of Strategy & Planning in IT4Shell (Retail). A major initiative that he conceived & co-lead was inducing interest & improved profitability for users of environmentally clean diesel in construction sectors from Dubai to New Zealand.

He joined Temasek Holdings in early 2007 where he was tasked to clarify business-IT requirements, develop firm-wide IT work-plan and take IT delivery capabilities to new heights.

She also has experience with market data products and services for Traders and Hedge Funds.

Caroline is a Belgian citizen and holds a Masters in Law from the University of Brussels.

Prior to joining SWIFT, Lisa worked in Hong Kong and Sydney as an Asset Management Market Specialist, with Reuters, responsible for the promotion of solutions to buy side customers. Lisa is an American citizen who worked in New York for many years before moving to the Asia Pacific region.

Mr TK Yap, CFA, is Executive Director at OCBC Securities where he oversees institutional execution and electronic connectivity at the firm, as well as its alternative investments product desk and central dealing unit. His 20 years in the investment and securities business includes experience at both local and foreign firms, from both the buy and sell sides, and in distribution as well as origination. His stockbroking background included stints as head of research as well as head of sales of a regional brokerage in the early 90s. He joined OCBC Securities in 1998 to start its broker dealer sales trading and electronic execution business, targeting the cash, derivatives, portfolio trading and proprietary desks of US and European broker dealers as well as electronic trading networks.

TK serves on the Board of Governors of the CFA Institute, was formerly the President of the Singapore Society of Financial Analysts, and serves on SIAS Committees including investor education, the SIBA Equity Derivatives Committee, the SGX Securities Committee, and was part of the MAS Capital Markets Committee.
