The nature of services offered is dependent on customer requirements but the scope includes a mix of desktop support, server support, Wide/Local Area Network (voice and data) management, application development and application support.
The Company's success is due to the experience gained in the Emergency Services sector where the company operates countywide communications systems under Private Finance Initiative (PFI) guidelines for a number of Ambulance Trusts.
SunGard currently provides ICT and communications managed services for a number of local authorities, police forces and associated government agencies.
These are long-term contractual relationships and often incorporate best value initiatives such as technology refresh, strategic partnership, gain sharing and continuous service improvement.
