Police Information Management
Today's drive for police forces to manage and share the right information efficiently is unprecedented. Forces are required to execute their day to day business data processes in line with a range of statutory requirements, initiatives, guidelines and codes of practice, such as the National Intelligence Model (NIM), the Manual of Guidance for the Management of Police Information (MoPI), and the Policing Performance Assessment Framework (PPAF).
To meet these demands, forces have recognised the need for information solutions which provide an enterprise view of criminal intelligence and business intelligence data.
In consultation with a number of UK police forces, SunGard is developing and rolling out a SunGard Police Information Management product to deliver enterprise wide solutions with the following benefits:
