Front Arena Integration Framework & Third-Party Interfaces
Integration Framework
In today’s complex environment, a trading system cannot survive alone. Even the simplest installation will require integration to external systems for market information, deal capture and sending trades to back-office systems. The Arena Integration Framework is used by Front Arena and customers to facilitate a smooth integration. To improve the quality of services and to reduce costs for manual processes, institutions are increasingly focusing on integrating applications and automating processes.
Front Arena provides standardized integration to market data providers, deal capture solutions, payments systems, cash management and accounting solutions, and technology adaptors.
Interfaces
In addition to integration with several financial services technology providers, Front Arena also has a number of interfaces in place including:
- SunGard Monis: provides an “out-of-the-box” interface to Monis, a pricing and risk engine for convertibles and convertible arbitrage
- Mark-it Partners: uncovers market opportunities with Mark-it, a provider of pricing for credit instruments (CDS) and their RED (reference entity database)
- Bloomberg data license and Bloomberg desktop: interfaces to Bloomberg speeds up implementation and lowers on-going data maintenance
- Reuters: receives real-time pricing for intraday P&L, positions and numerous risk factors
- Prime brokers and fund administrators: helps shorten deployment times of new implementations and lower the total cost of deployment
