Commentary Changing industry dynamics have led financial institutions to rely heavily on their software systems and technical infrastructures. In order to achieve success in today’s capital markets, financial institutions need systems that are intuitive, labor-saving, scalable and flexible. Without inherent scalability, growing trading volumes can only result in restrictive compromises and expensive workarounds. As capital markets become more complex, software systems must be flexible enough to accommodate greater processing loads or they will greatly impede business agility.
