CHALLENGES IN POST-TRADE PROCESSING AND OPERATIONS
Come and see our industry experts discuss the ongoing challenges that confront market participants in the post-trade derivatives processing environment.
With regulatory scrutiny set to intensify through 2010 whilst volumes and execution speeds continue to increase, financial institutions, clearing houses and exchanges are under pressure to deliver a more timely, transparent and operationally efficient post-trade landscape.
However, realising these imperatives is no easy task given the inherent difficulties of achieving real-time position monitoring and true end-to-end STP for derivatives.
Consequently, the transition to a new post-trade paradigm is a complex one that demands process standardisation, enhanced cross-market communication and the intelligent application of cutting edge technology.
The SunGard Clearing Panel aims to address all of these issues to provide valuable insight into evolving market practices in post-trade processing.
