Software as a Service
Your organization’s need to improve collaboration and expand product offerings is often challenged by efforts to cut costs and streamline operations. Software as a Service (SaaS) can help you balance these competing goals by:
- Improving flexibility and agility to respond to infrastructure changes
- Accelerating time-to-value by minimizing software implementation
- Reducing the size and number of upfront capital investments
- Removing the IT burden associated with traditional software implementations and maintenance
We are pursuing a visionary initiative to transform some of the key functionality of our core systems into components to form a new software development and on-demand delivery environment called Infinity.
Infinity incorporates a SaaS delivery model, which means software is delivered over the Internet. SaaS delivery is most similar to a utility on a pay-as-you-go or subscription basis. SaaS allows you to outsource a single business process, or select a set of business processes, versus having to implement a complete application in house.
Infinity’s combination of SaaS delivery with a repository of components and services offers the ability to combine and reuse business processes and change workflow without changing code.
Hosted services eliminate the need to deal with the hardware, databases and additional technology infrastructure that typically surround traditional in house software implementations.
As a result, your organization can focus on what matters most – the functionality needed to meet business objectives.
