Billy Morris is senior vice president and benefit administration sector manager for SunGard’s wealth management business, which provides an integrated suite of solutions for retirement plan administration, including recordkeeping, trading and reconciliation, check writing and benefit disbursement processes of defined contribution, defined benefit and other contributory schemes. Mr. Morris joined SunGard in 1990 as a plan processor for SunGard’s Omni system, and subsequently served in multiple management roles, including: customer support, solution implementations and product management. In 2004, Mr. Morris moved to the SunGard Global Network (SGN), where he served in new business development, consulting, sales and account management roles.
Mr. Morris is an expert in helping benefit administrators improve operations, ensure compliance and manage business processes and data across the enterprise by streamlining architectural structures. He is an affiliate with several industry associations within the pension market, including ASPPA and SPARK. In addition to being an active participant in a number of working groups focused on legislative and regulatory issues shaping the industry, Mr. Morris has also been a keynote speaker at SPARK.
