Commentary
Wealth management is one of the fastest growing and most dynamic sectors of the financial services industry. The battle for wealthy customers is intense and the stakes are high. Consolidation, shifts in financial markets, expanding investment opportunities, increasingly demanding customers and product innovation are all reshaping the industry and forcing players to formulate a strategic response. This is generating new business priorities that consequently call for innovative and flexible IT solutions. IT is expected to gain further importance in the support of banking strategic decisions and become itself an element of differentiation.
