David Hamilton is president of SunGard's banks business. Mr. Hamilton has a wealth of experience in the financial services industry including over 20 years of core banking experience. He joined SunGard in July 2008. Most recently he was managing director of Fiserv Asia Pacific where he held overall responsibility for the company's core banking, channel renewal and business process management business across the region.
Mr. Hamilton is responsible for the strategy and performance of SunGard’s banking solutions, including Ambit. Based on his work with financial institutions in Europe, United States and across Asia Pacific, he is an expert on the many issues surrounding core banking transformation. His experience enables him to help ensure SunGard applies pragmatism and innovation to our business transformation and universal banking systems, so that our customers can be prudent in their decision-making and strategic for maximized returns, whilst providing an enhance customer experience.
Commentary
Banks worldwide are focusing on a return to basics approach as they look to consolidate their relationships with their most profitable customers, improve their operational efficiencies so that costs are controlled and the customer experience enhanced, and remain agile so that they can respond quickly to market and customer demands.
