European financial services institutions are facing increasing market volatility, new regulatory demands and an ever-increasing call for streamlined operations. With this renewed focus on operational efficiency, many asset managers are exploring systems and concepts that can help address these demands. Whether evaluating Business Process Management (BPM) or a more sophisticated approach to compliance, there are a number of key questions any European asset management or asset servicing firm must ask: How can we grow our organization’s assets under management while being more efficient and reducing costs? What do the most recent European regulatory requirements mean to our operations? How will the ever-increasing convergence of traditional and alternative investments effect our operations and for what future trends should we be prepared?
