Commentary

As we enter the post economic crisis era the insurance industry continues to face ever increasing competition to support revenue growth and support more stringent regulatory requirements, which is driving carriers to seek greater enterprise risk management (ERM) visibility and operational control across their organizations.  When multi-national carriers approach global projects, risk managers and executive leadership quickly markup short-listed priorities such as managing a single platform, controlled production environments, fully automated processes and support for timely projections in order to drive the objectives of their business in the short term and the long term. Today, many of these disciplines and maturity across various departments at carriers are not well defined, but with new legislative requirements across the globe around Solvency II, change is rapidly taking place.
