It also manages settlement fails and regulatory reporting.

The books and records system provides summary and detailed breakdowns of cash and stock positions along with the transactions that created them.

Real time position can be shown on local, regional or global basis that gives a firm-wide view of all trading positions. Realized and unrealized P&L are calculated on the appropriate basis.
