SunGard’s Cost Basis Reporting Engine can be integrated with your back-office accounting systems. Fully automated and highly scalable, it calculates buys, sells, corporate actions, wash sales, option assignments and exercises, either in real-time or batch process overnight. The system accepts data from multiple sources to create a consolidated view of tax lot data, then delivers it, along with regular cost-basis updates, recalculation of mutual fund reclassifications and support for Automated Customer Account Transfers (ACATS) to existing advisor and client-facing platforms.
