SunGard Rated #1 Vendor in Chartis RiskTech 100 Rankings

SunGard (www.sungard.com) today announced that, for the second year running, it has been named as top vendor in the annual RiskTech 100 Rankings. The rankings are compiled by Chartis Research, a leading provider of research and analysis on global risk technology markets, and RiskTech, the specialist risk management consultancy, and provide a comprehensive assessment of the world’s top 100 risk technology firms.
The rankings, now in their second year, are developed using a comprehensive sweep of risk management systems and the application of a detailed assessment methodology. Results for this year have been compiled from over 750 questionnaires and more than 100 interviews with technology buyers, as well as data reviews with over 20 independent consultants. SunGard, represented primarily by its Adaptiv and BancWare solutions, scored consistently highly across criteria such as functionality, customer satisfaction and core technology, achieving the number one ranking for the second time.
