Columbia County, GA Sheriff’s Office Selects SunGard’s OSSI Public Safety Software

The suite provides a fully integrated system that affords each agency real-time access to shared information, helping to improve response times, reduce costs and crime, and increase officer safety, while staying connected with the community.

Columbia County will implement the Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD), Records Management System (RMS), Jail Management System (JMS), Mobile Computing (MCT), Mobile Field Reporting (MFR), and Internet Technology: Police-to-Citizen (P2C) components of the OSSI Public Safety Suite. Together, these components will help officers to stay connected with real-time data while in the field. The Police-to-Citizen access enables citizens to perform simple searches, download reports, and submit non-emergency incidents which helps reduce police workload and improve efficiency of their operations.
