SunGard Named Top Life and Health Solution Provider in 2009 Insurer’s Choice Technology Ranking

SunGard was named the top solution provider in three categories in the 2009 Insurer's Choice Technology Rankings. The 2009 Insurer's Choice Technology Rankings were based exclusively on votes received from Life and Health and Property and Casualty insurance carriers.
Financial Insights, a research, consulting and advisory firm, and Tech Decisions, a Summit Business Media publication specializing in insurance technology, conducted the Insurer's Choice Technology Rankings. The awards recognize technology firms that insurers have been choosing to help run their companies. SunGard was the overall winner in Life and Health. SunGard also placed first in the Operations sub category and Informed (Analytics) sub category. SunGard was awarded second place in the two remaining categories, Financials and Product Development.
