SunGard Public Sector Achieves ISO14001 Environmental Management Certificaiton

SunGard Public Sector has successfully achieved ISO 14001:2004 certification. ISO 14001 is an environmental management standard created to
help organizations protect the environment, prevent pollution and improve their environmental
performance.
Organisations are facing increasing demands to demonstrate commitment and tangible evidence that they are reducing the impact that their businesses are having on the environment. As part of SunGard’s Corporate Sustainability initiative the Company recognised that ISO 14001 and a formal environmental management system would provide a template to help it meet and demonstrate its own environmental goals.
