West Mercia Housing Group selects SunGard Public Sector’s Aspireview Performance Management Solution

August 13, 2009 — London, UK

SunGard Public Sector today announced that West Mercia Housing Group is the latest social housing provider to adopt its Aspireview Performance Management solution. West Mercia Housing Group consists of Harden Housing Association, Kemble Housing, Nexus Housing, Supported Housing for Young People Project (SHYPP) and Whitefriars Housing Group, which together manage approximately 24,000 homes across the West Midlands, Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

Liz Staveley, business services director of West Mercia Housing Group, said, “SunGard quickly demonstrated a good understanding of the business and operational issues we face with collating and presenting our performance information.  Their Aspireview solution showed a clear and effective way to address our needs, as well as adding another dimension to the process with the management of related corporate risks and actions.”

As a group, West Mercia has grown considerably, increasing the burden of reporting performance at both member and group levels. West Mercia Housing Group is looking to Aspireview to deliver performance information directly to the desktop, helping staff manage their key performance indicators, corporate risk and action plans as well as utilising the Aspireview Key Lines Of Enquiry (KLOE) module to help them prepare for short notice and planned inspections.

Andrew Carroll, head of ICT at Whitefriars Housing Group, added, “We were impressed by how quickly Aspireview was configured to meet our exact requirements.  This, combined with the fact that it is a Web-based solution enabling quick roll out with minimal IT involvement, made selecting it a very simple decision indeed.”

Ray Fielding, president of SunGard Public Sector’s Aspiren, commented: “SunGard is pleased that West Mercia Housing Group is yet another social housing provider which has selected the Aspireview solution to help drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency throughout the organisation.”
