Delaware State University Selects SunGard Higher Education to Help Improve IT Performance and the Learning Experience

Delaware State University (“DSU”) is expanding its relationship with SunGard Higher Education by outsourcing its information technology services to the company. SunGard will lead and manage the university’s IT services as well as provide 24/7 help desk support and other services to help improve IT performance and better serve the university’s students, faculty and staff.
With SunGard’s help, DSU will launch efforts to improve the reliability and quality of its network and server infrastructure. SunGard consultants also will work with university administrators to establish more effective IT governance and develop a strategic technology plan that aligns with the institutional goals and objectives of the university.

Included among the immediate projects will be helping the university optimize its Banner Digital Campus administrative system and take advantage of the many new features and enhancements that SunGard has added since DSU originally implemented the software.
