Optional Product Training

Product training will be provided at a discounted rate of $495 per person during the conference. Training will include topics identified by the Client Services Support Team as those topics which receive the most inquiries from you. For full course details, please refer to the Training Session Descriptions. All classes will be provided in specific product breakout rooms.

APS2
An informational overview of the core features and functionality available within the APS 2 product will be reviewed. Topics will include: web version 2.0, FASB 157, MBS run-off estimated projection, Update Rates and Rating by CUSIP, management reporting with dynamic viewing, Bond rate shock by market value, GASB 40 reporting, EITF 03-01 OTTI reporting, FDIC Risk Based Capital reporting, plus 4 new 10K/10Q reports. The course will also discuss procedures for custodial holding and payment reconciliation available in APS 2 with your safe keepers. We will also review the enhancements made to the system in the last release.


Globe$
 
The AvantGard Globe$ product training will include a comprehensive demonstration of the newest version of AvantGard Globe$. New features include the ‘Dual Approval’ enhanced security schema that satisfies SOX requirements for both outbound and static data elements. For the global organization, we will discuss how Globe$ can interface with multiple General Ledger packages across multiple continents simultaneously; and how to configure your Globe$ environment to generate and transport payment files in each bank’s preferred format that will be accepted by their back office system automatically. Additionally, standard Cash Management, Market Data, Accounting and Reporting areas will be covered. As an added bonus, we will highlight technical areas of the system to assist treasury and IT personnel with query generation and report writing using both the built in and proprietary report writing tools.

GETPAID

This is a workshop designed to discuss the best way to optimize the AvantGard GETPAID Application by monitoring user activity, and further utilizing the capabilities of the system. Strategies and Collection Types, including editing and adding Strategies will be covered. The workshop will also include the benefits of using the Collections workflows for automation, setting collection goals for your organization, and Work Queue tips and tricks used to enhance the user collections productivity. Optimizing your usage of Dispute Resolution is also included in the session, as is an open discussion about the Web Reporting Tool addressing specific reporting questions and configuration.

GTM

The AvantGard GTM product training will cover advanced topics including the Security Set up Options, and ongoing Security maintenance within your system. In addition to Security, the session will focus on ongoing accounting maintenance with an emphasis on how other modules within the system impact accounting. It will also include a review of how deal or accounting setup changes affect the ending journal entries.

The AvantGard ICMS product training will cover advanced and the latest topics related to accounting control, daily cash optimization, and forecasting.

        • Gain an overview of the system integration with an emphasis on “single point data entry”, spanning cash,
           investment, and debt
        • Receive an Introduction of the GL Filter module for effective data enrichment
        • Learn various options for data interfaces
        • Gain and understanding of the power of reporting: spanning the Data Navigator, ADHOC Report Writer,
           and Standard Reports by business function
        • Learn In House Bank and various uses (e.g., Inter-Company Loans, Checks Outstanding, etc.)

Integrity

The AvantGard Integrity product training will focus on integration with various ancillary products that AvantGard offers. These include Bank Account Compliance, Bank Fee Analysis, Cash Predictor and the Executive Dashboard. Bank Account Compliance and Fee Analysis are tools for treasury users to get a handle on all aspects of their bank accounts – including signatory management and bank fee validation. The Cash Predictor allows users to predict future cash flows by applying various trends, models and assumptions to historical data. The Executive Dashboard provides immediate and flexible visibility to your essential data via a user-configurable web page.

Training Objectives:
        • Review the prerequisites for the Bank Account Compliance and Bank Fee Analysis modules
        • Cover the basic set up of the modules, with specific focus on the integration points with Integrity
        • Examine the output and reports available
        • Review the prerequisites for Cash Predictor and discuss options for capturing history
        • Show how to create basic forecasting models and apply them to historical data
        • Demonstrate how to import the forecasts generated by the Cash Predictor
        • Review all of the gadgets available for the Executive Dashboard
        • Demonstrate how users can design and build their own Dashboard


Quantum
The AvantGard Quantum product training will cover discussions on various in-house banking setup options. It will include Accounting and Posting Rules modifications, how changes to Deals impact your accounting processes within the application, as well as how these changes ultimately impact your journal processing.  We will also discuss functionality available within the AG-Scheduler, common scenarios in which it is being used, and provide general setup and maintenance training.

        • Understand Term Loans vs. Current Accounts
        • Learn about Interco Bank Account Defaults vs. Interco GL Defaults
        • Understand AC deals vs. AT deals
        • Learn Bank Rates Import (e.g. EONIA + 25bp)

        • Understand the impact within the Quantum sub-ledger and GL extract process of; resaving deals, editing deals,

ResourceIQ2
The AvantGard ResourceIQ product training will cover new features such as the very popular Force Logoff, how scanner files work, and Tips and Tricks on streamlining your reconciliation.  The training will show everything you need to know about ResIQ from A-Z.  Designed for users of all skill levels.

Training Objectives:
        • Understand front end applications from user perspective and also back end admin functions
        • Review new enhancements of the product
        • Troubleshoot common issues and apply solutions to resolve them


Secure32 Business Edition
Introduction to Secure32’s security with Siglock32 functionality and providing an overview of product features.  Features covered will be: User Security, Checkbook Setup capabilities, Print Processing, Reprints, Non-negotiable Copies, and job process Reporting.  Advanced features including: Watch, PayStation and Positive Pay.


Secure32 Enterprise Edition
Introduction to Secure32 Enterprise Edition. A network payment solution that works in conjunction with SQL server.  Covered will be User Security, Checkbook Setup capabilities, Print Processing, Reprints, Non-negotiable Copies, and job process Reporting.  Advanced features including: Watch, PayStation, Positive Pay, and the Script Configurator Interface.  The Script Configurator provides advanced payment processing abilities with better automation.  This feature allows users the ability to print checks from multiple bank accounts, handle different types of payments such as checks, deposits, ACH payments, or invoices.  And has the ability to produce Positive Pay files, sort, redirect/split, or suspend payments all within a single process flow. 


TWS
The AvantGard TWS product training will cover which tools are available in the latest release to help streamline and optimize day-to-day cash operations using the CPW.  We will also cover navigation through the system, customizing flows and processes within the application to meet Treasury’s operational needs,  and the dynamic reporting capabilities of the system to design Ad Hoc reports and filters.
